What is Certasaurus?
An iOS app that prepares you for the NCLEX-RN® exam, built around the Next Generation NCLEX item types (matrix, cloze, bow-tie, drag-to-order, highlight) with the same partial-credit scoring the real exam uses. It includes an AI Tutor powered by Claude.
Do I need an account?
No. The app works fully offline with no account. Your progress stays on your device.
What's free vs. Pro?
Free gives you a sample question set, flashcards, and the full dashboard. Pro all-access unlocks the entire NCLEX-RN question bank, every NGN item type with partial credit, timed mock exams, the AI Tutor, spaced repetition, the readiness certificate, and every future nursing exam we add.
Subscription details
Pro all-access is an auto-renewable subscription, billed through your Apple ID.
- Monthly: $14.99 USD/month
- Annual: $99.99 USD/year (save 44%)
The subscription auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged at confirmation of purchase and again at each renewal.
Manage or cancel your subscription
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us. To view, change, or cancel:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
- Tap Certasaurus and choose Cancel Subscription (or change the plan).

Subscription doesn't appear?
Open Certasaurus, go to Account → Restore Purchases. This re-checks your Apple ID and reactivates Pro on this device. If you're still stuck, email support@certasaurus.com.
Troubleshooting
- Pro not unlocked after purchase: Account → Restore Purchases.
- App misbehaves after an update: force-quit (swipe up from the bottom and flick the app card up), then reopen.
- Still broken: delete and reinstall. Local progress will be lost — Pro will restore via Restore Purchases.
- None of that worked: email us with iOS version, app version, and the steps to reproduce.
